Blackberry spraying

Drones have become a popular choice for farmers in blackberry spraying. The drones get the same kill rate as conventional methods while chemical usage is reduced up to 60 percent. The drone has Controlled Droplet Application (CDA), together with the maneuverability in the most steep and unstable areas. Reducing the need to put farmers in dangerous situations such as on (effluent)dams.

Farmers often grapple with the challenges of treating blackberries. Often blackberries grow on challenging terrain, that poses difficulties for traditional spraying equipment. Blackberry spraying with drones is a targeted approach, avoiding unnecessary exposure of surrounding ecosystems to chemicals. Drones can easily adapt to such difficulties, reaching areas that will not be accessible by conventional machinery.

Spreading and spraying of herbicides, pesticides, cricket bait and fertilisers is done by Webber and Chivell Drones. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.
